Sarah attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She later earned her Master’s of Social Work from the joint program with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the North Carolina A&T University. Sarah’s clinical background is working with youth and adolescents facing an array of emotional and behavioral problems. Sarah’s background also includes school social work and immigrant family advocacy.
Sarah provides services to individuals (aged 5+) and has a special interest in working with those presenting: anxiety disorders, depression, self-esteem, family challenges, life transition/adjustment issues, or mood concerns. Sarah’s therapeutic approach is person centered and believes in using a multi-cultural and strength based perspective. She also enjoys utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Based Therapy, and Mindfulness frameworks.
